Aphelion.
Spacey tunes for all your spacey needs.
My eye is the center focus of the album cover this time. Figured I'd change it up a bit. I have hazel eyes so there's a lot of color in them.
I hope you're looking forward to the new songs!

February is next month and that means release month! I can't wait for you all to here the new tracks!
I wish I would have thought of releasing the Mars Landscape EP sooner, but you know, at the 10th anniversary of composing Moon Set... sometimes the time is just right. It's gonna be fun to bring some fans along back to my piano road. Chasing Yesterday is a personal album. While the space themes will always be there... this album feels different. The tone is a little different and I tried some new mastering tools to get a nice sound. The intimacy of this album comes from feeling a bit like I'd wish the past would repeat itself. There are things I miss that I want to revisit and just sit in the moments longer... so I composed this album with memories, some heartache, and much love. I can only hope it reverbs with as much emotion as I put into the songs. Perhaps you all can find a memory to think of when you listen to the new tracks. <3 Goodness I haven't written here all year! Terribly sorry! It's been a busy one! I hope you all have enjoyed my last album "Light Years From Home". In Febuary 2026 I will release a new album and a new EP!
Chasing Yesterday is the name of the new album. It's as it seems. The repeating notes will echo and the memories will linger. This album is for those who feel stuck in orbit — caught between the gravity of the past and the pull of what could be. It’s about chasing moments you can’t reclaim, about hearing the ghosts of yesterday in the quiet of now. I'm very proud of what songs I've composed so I hope you all enjoy! The Mars Landscape EP is also quite special. I've been meaning to remaster my Mars Landscape - Moon Set song for many years... and I finally got around to doing it! So I remaster Moon Set and it's companion Sun Set. I also composed a new song "Star Set" to add to the list. I added some tempo changed songs, just like in the When the Darkness Comes video game, as many have asked for those over the years. And I also made a REQUIEM verision on Moon Set as a final wave to the song. Now see... Mars Landscape Moon Set is kinda what put my music out there for the world to finally hear. I was so fortunate to get that song in a game and sooooo many people enjoyed it that, to this day, people still contact me about the song. I am so thrilled that because of the song I got a chance to really go for my piano compositions. And it makes me so happy that people could truly feel the song and continue to listen to it. I can only hope I get so lucky again with another one of my songs. I can't thank everyone enough for listening to my music. I love you all. <3 Princess of Mars
My new album is released and out to the world!
So far I've had very positive feedback from all of you, which I greatly appreciate! I'm so proud of this album and it feels so true to myself and my music. I can't quite explain why, but it feels right along the lines of my princess of Mars and loneliness theme... even if some of the songs aren't particularly melocholy. I'm quite surprised in myself that I've composed so much in the past year. I wasn't expecting to release another album so quickly after my "Shadows of Self" one, but "Beyond the Sun" came to light so quick and so fast, I just couldn't stop the momentum! And, funily enough, I've already composed 5 more songs since I set this album into place! WHAT? Where is it all coming from? I have so many thoughts and feelings, and instead of typing them out I'm placing them into melodies. I enjoy that it's like that. Even the tough emotions like sadness and loneliness get pushed into a song. It's like my way of dealing with life. I guess. Music has always been an accompaniment to my life, it seems fitting to do so. I did it! I'm releasing my new album onto all streaming platforms on December 12th! Woohoo!
Beyond the Sun is a collection of my feelings from the past year. A lot deals with loneliness and feeling far away. Rather, that's a usual theme of mine. But, even so, I think the melodies have a great deal of heart to them and aren't particularly held to the sadness or loneliness I feel. It's all so complicated, hence why I make music! I believe this is a first, but I truly LOVE each one of these songs on this album. It has been a long year of creating, but I find myself humming along to all these new melodies I've created. It's like a summary of all my hardwork and dedication to my music for the past 10+ years all in one album. I think, WOW, I like these. He he he... I can't wait for you all to listen! And don't forgot, you can use my music on instagram, facebook, Tik Tok, etc. for your posts. All my streaming music is available in the libraries for your reels. <3 The Princess of Mars
My new album is out on Bandcamp! Woohoo!
I've already had some people buy this album and it means the absolutely WORLD to me that I have fans around the world supporting my silly little piano songs. I truly thank you all for your listens, sales, and wonderful words! I appreciate and love you all! I'm super proud of these songs. I find that most of them truly capture almost a year's worth of raw emotions. Ones I've been holding in, for a painfully long time, and I had to let them out somehow. These sort of emotions are difficult to describe in words, dare I say impossible for me. So, I put them in melodies. Melodies I can only hear on a piano. Sometimes, feelings get caught in my mind and I can't quite figure them out. Like they're stuck to my brain and I have to yank some of them off. Perhaps the album is a bit more melocholic than the last few. Sadness is a feeling I welcome, no matter how painful it may be to feel. But here I am and here are these songs. I'm still working on some other songs at this moment, even though I just finished this album officially. Most of these songs from "Dreams on these burnt pages" and some new ones will be on a new album coming out later this year that will be available on all the streaming platforms. I simply can't stop creating, my mind is too full of ideas! <3 I sit here.
Staring at the ceiling. It’s a white ceiling. Completely boring. And boring becomes a nightmare, so cold and unreal. I stare and continue to sit here. Aware that I am nothing. If I stay here long enough, maybe I’ll disappear. Into the floor I’ll go. Melting away with the time that slips by unnoticed. What dreams turn to black and those nightmares turn to white. Nothing really matters. And so I sit here, forever unchanged. Forever waiting. Forever. I could sit here. Waiting. I'm quite patient, regardless of the twitching of muscles. I feel like I've been waiting forever. For my turn. Just for my turn. And that waiting gets harder and harder as the days go by. As the months cross into years. Sometimes waiting becomes this normalized task. But, I'm tired of waiting. I want to grasp that future I see so clearly in my head. Is it possible? Can I dig my heels in? Can I heart soar to the heights it desires? I am here, waiting. But, I'm done waiting. I just want to move forward. I have been composing like a mad woman. Sparks of inspiration come and go, but they seem to be stringing together recently. Many I have many emotions I need to get out and piano is the only way to do it. Melodies are like talking to me, and you are my conversation partner.
Maybe I'll have a new album I'll release on streaming services instead of just Bandcamp. Every listen means so much to me. Every person who contacts me means so much to me. It's so wonderful to connect wth people around the world through a common musical langauge. We don't need words, we have notes. Anyway, I was just writing to say I'm creating... as usual. So many la-la-la's in my head. Maybe this time I'll get my song in a tv show or movie. Maybe an anime or a new video game. So many possibilities. So many dreams. And I shall keep on dreaming! I sit here and wonder where I am supposed to be.
Is it here? I don't think so. Is it there? I don't know. There are so many places to be, how could I possibly know which is the right one. And it's not like I would need to stay for long. Perhaps I'm a wanderer at heart. I've lived many places; some felt more right than others. But, home is supposed to be where the heart is. So... where is my heart? I think my heart is surrounded by darkness, at the moment, and I don't think the aurora borealis could color me enough. Maybe, I'm not in the right place or doing the right things. I crave success, but what does that mean? I have dreams of being a writer and for my music to make it around the world and back. I dream to learn how to program and understand AI. I want to make some kind of living on my passions, even if it's a small contribution. I want to learn as much as I can. To understand as much as I can. To be knowledgeable in the most profound way. It all seems to slip through my fingers. Maybe I don't know where to start, so I start here. With my thoughts. Writing them out for others to read. In the hopes for a connection. Thank you to all who have listened to the new album! I greatly appreciate it. We're about two months out and people seem to be enjoying the new songs!
Actually, I've been quite shocked by the reception to my music thus far. I've actually had my biggest payout for my music this month... ever (sync royalties, you know). It's an absolute dream to be able to call myself a composer, but to get paid for it? WHAT? It really makes me happy. I've already started composing for the next album. Got 5 songs out already. Have I ever told you how fun it is to make music? To sit at my keyboard and just create? Well, it's an amazing feeling, right from the heart and deep from my soul. I could do this all day every day if someone would let me! But reality is still reality. Plus, I'm a writer, so I gotta work on my book... Anyway, again, thank you all so much for listening. Thank you for listening to the new album and breathing new life into my old songs. Thank you! ありがとうございます! |
