Julie Maxwell is the Princess of Mars.
No, seriously. I am.
A mindset, mind you, of the beauty of being different. Through my creative endeavors, I try to bring out my humanity. A tale of loneliness and the yearning to belong, teetering between overcoming and falling; every aspect of my music and photography try to capture such cavern depths of emotions. The kingdom of Mars is a lonely place, there aren’t that many people here. But, I welcome those who want to share in the experience of feeling their emotions. To become Martians. Truly feel, not brush anything under a rug and forget about the mess until it’s too big to ignore.
I want nothing more than to hit the heart strings of others. Pluck a pleasant rhythm. We can laugh together, cry together, and simply be together.
I compose with my emotions. Whether that’s at the piano or at the camera, it doesn’t matter. My art expresses a longing for a distance and a lull loneliness. The kingdom of Mars is an expression of both those qualities. It can be far and it can be lonely.

他人の心を打つ以外に何もしたくない。優しいリズムを弾く。私たちは一緒に笑ったり、一緒に泣いたり、単に一緒にいることができる。
自分の感情で作曲する。それがピアノでもカメラでも、構わない。私のアートは、距離への憧れと落ち着いた孤独を表現する。火星の王国は、これら両方の特質の表現です。それは遠く、孤独になる可能性があります。
